The grand opening of the 3rd edition of the Polish Circles of Art in China will take place on October 25th in Beijing. For over two months, Polish film screenings, video game industry presentations, exhibitions, concerts, as well as lectures and workshops from various art fields will take place in the largest Chinese cities.
The program of the 3rd edition of the Polish Circles of Art in China Festival reflects the diversity of Polish cinematography, showcasing both its contemporary accomplishments as well as well-know classic works, this year including documentaries and animations. Through festival efforts, two important Polish films will be screened for the first time in Asia: the Cannes awarded “Cold War” by Paweł Pawlikowski (in collaboration with the European Film Festival) and “Squadron 303”. One of the festival guests will be Maciej Zakościelny.
After last year’s success, the Polish gaming industry will once again present their accomplishments during the Polish Circles of Art in China Festival. Producers will exhibit their latest work on the most important platforms, while industry professionals will showcase their artistic, technological and design skills.
As part of the festival, the world famous pianist Grzegorz Niemczuk will perform a number of concerts.
The Polish Circles of Art in China Festival also means new artistic challenges. The Voice of the Wild Hunt will give their debut concert, performing the score to the world-famous video game made by CD PROJEKT. Super-band Circles of Art Orchestra will also perform, while the city of Changsha in the Hunan province will be home to the AMS Poster Gallery exhibition.
This year’s edition will include the following cities: Beijing, Hangzhou, Chengdu, Shanghai, Jinan, Nanjing, Shenzhen and Changsha. The event is promoted in national and local Chinese media, and Chinese artists and specialists in various fields will also take part in the festival.
