Carbon Studio is a team of dedicated game developers based in Gliwice, Poland. They strive to create high quality, enjoyable, and immersive applications that explore all the new possibilities offered by VR. Their work in the rapidly evolving medium pushes us to adapt quickly and seek innovation wherever possible, aiming to meet the demands of the users.
The Wizards
The Wizards is an award-winning action-adventure VR spellcaster for Oculus Rift, HTC Vive and Microsoft MR headsets. The game was released on Oculus Store and Steam on March 8th, 2018 after 8 months of Early Access. In The Wizards players get a chance to fulfill childhood dreams of becoming powerful magicians and cast spells with hand gestures.
Art of Light in Video Games
During presentation it will be shown how to achieve artistic style and artistic look in 3D games, based on Unreal Engine 4. Also it would be explained how to use tools like zbrush to create stylised content and how to use traditional art to improve 3D skills.


Błażej Szaflik

Błażej Szaflik has been working in game development since 2010. Before forming Carbon Studio, he was the director of project department and producer in The Farm 51 in Gliwice. He worked on games such as Painkiller: Hell and Damnation, Deadfall Adventures, Afterfall Insanity, and many others. Since 2012, he also has been teaching game development techniques on the University of Silesia. In 2015, he co-founded Carbon Studio, where he holds the position of board chairman.


Aleksander Caban

Aleksander Caban works in game industry for last 9 years, he started his adventure with games from first person shooters and now he is one of cofounders of Carbon Studio – specialized in VR games and applications. He finished Academy of Fine Arts in Katowice, and he is also teacher there in Animation and Video Games Studio on Graphic Design Faculty.
